Bernard Antoine Gendron was born in Baie-Comeau, Quebec.  He was quickly recognized for his artistic personality.  He studied Fine Arts at Collège Jonquière in the early 1970s. He is an innovative, self-motivated and gifted individual with exceptional artistic and visual perception skills.  He is constantly exploring ways to demonstrate and develop his abilities and his experience into progressive and mutually rewarding opportunities. 

Mr. Gendron has extensive experience in visual arts and sculpting, using a variety of media including oil and acrylic paint, wood and metal.  He is a founding member of two different artistic events in Quebec.

He has participated in many exhibitions including Sculpture Ephemere between the years of 2000 and 2005. His work was also shown at the Galerie Corrid’Art. He took part in Boréalissime and The Three Musketeers events.

In addition to the above, he has created innovative logos, promotional signs for the City of Baie-Comeau and has also worked for private clients. Finally, he participated in the painting of outdoor wall murals to commemorate the history of the City of Baie-Comeau in 2001.

In Ontario B.A. Gendron has held solo exposition at the «Freeway Coffee House» of Hamilton in May 2007. He has been a part of group shows at the Sunrise Gallery of Hamilton since June 2007. His artwork has also been shown at the « Stir it up » in Brantford since december 2006. Finally, Bernard has shown solo at the Sunrise Gallery in June 2008.

Painting and sculpting are his creative passions. He devotes much of his time and effort in completing his art. He hopes you will enjoy this show with as much enthusiasm as he has had creating these works.
